This picture belongs to the “Roquíticos” collection. The “Roquítocos” is one of the collections that derive from an old script titled “The Book of Ionay” written by the author himself. In this case the collection gives life to the beings that live in the inner world of the rocks and whose dwellers revealed some of its secrets to Ionay, the fictitious traveller who travells through these fantastic worlds. The text that originated this image is as following: …neither do you know that we have a place to go to prevent us from hardening. A place in which you can join us intimately and without differentiating yourselves from the rocks that surround you. Both humans and roquíticos are of the same matter in which the universe, the life and our thinking were built. You and us are so much more alike than you think and we also have a lot more life than you think, but you are unable to see it because even the trees that are slowest in growth are as speedy as light compared with the time in which our lives move. And to this place in our world you come for your hardened souls to rest and for your coldness to be absorbed, then to be returned again to your world with a warm and humane soul. You become more human thanks to us and to the Refuge of the Stone Souls. You can see a video titled "How is it made" in the web www.valentinfotografo.com
